This Privacy Policy describes how King of Dance Patna HQ (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information when you use https://kingofdance.in (the “Site”) and related enrolment flows. We operate under the trade name King of Dance in Patna, Bihar, India.

We wrote this to match what the Site actually does today—not a generic template full of features we do not run. If our practices change (for example analytics or online payments), we will update this page.

1. Who we are

The Site promotes King of Dance, a movement academy (street, contemporary, hip-hop, and related programmes) based in Patna, Bihar. For privacy questions or requests, contact us on WhatsApp at +918578839999 or through the Join flow.

If a registered company or proprietorship name is later published for the academy, that legal entity name will be added here without changing the substance of these practices unless we say otherwise.

2. Scope

This policy covers:

• Browsing the public pages of the Site
• Submitting the enrolment form at /join, which prepares a WhatsApp message to our studio number
• Optional email delivery of the same enquiry if that backup channel is enabled

It does not control how Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) processes data once you open or send a chat in the WhatsApp application. WhatsApp has its own terms and privacy policy.

3. Information we collect

A. Information you provide

When you use Join, you may submit:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Chosen discipline (for example dance, karate, music, gymnastics, art)

We do not ask for passwords, government IDs, or payment card / UPI details on this Site today. We do not run account registration on the Site.

B. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (currently Vercel) may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, and pages requested. This is used to deliver, secure, and debug the Site. We do not currently operate a separate first-party marketing analytics or advertising pixel on the Site. If we add one later, we will update this policy.

4. How we use information

• To respond to enrolment and class enquiries
• To contact you about schedules, trials, or next steps you requested
• To operate, maintain, and secure the Site
• To comply with applicable law or enforce our Terms of Use

We do not sell your personal information.

5. WhatsApp enrolment

The Join form builds a pre-filled message and opens WhatsApp (web or app) addressed to our studio number. You choose whether to send that message. After you send it, the conversation lives in WhatsApp and is handled by our admissions / studio team.

Meta’s processing of WhatsApp content is governed by Meta’s policies. We only use what you send us to handle your enquiry about King of Dance.

6. Sharing and processors

We may share information with:

• Studio operators and staff who need it to reply to your enquiry
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery
• WhatsApp / Meta — when you open or send a chat
• Optional email relay (for example Web3Forms) — only if we enable email backup for join submissions; that provider then processes the form fields to deliver mail to us
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

7. Retention

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to follow up on enrolment, resolve questions, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete or update your information (see Rights below). Messages you send in WhatsApp may also remain in that app according to how you and we manage the chat.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as it applies over time), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent for further contact where processing is consent-based.

To make a request, message us on WhatsApp at +918578839999 with enough detail to identify your enquiry. We may need to verify that the request comes from you. Some requests may be limited where the law allows (for example, to keep records we must retain).

9. Children

The Site describes programmes that may include younger students, but online enrolment contact should be made by a parent or legal guardian for anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected a child’s information inappropriately, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a small academy website (HTTPS, reputable hosting). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. WhatsApp security depends on Meta’s product and your device settings.

11. International processing

Our host and some infrastructure providers may process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, it is to operate the Site. By using the Site, you understand that such processing may occur.

12. Cookies

The Site may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for hosting, security, and basic session behaviour. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers on the Site today. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking all cookies may affect some site functions.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you have read the revised policy.
